The Philippine National Bank commits anew to support Filipino micro, small and medium enterprises through a new credit program, the Kabuhayan program, a financial facility addressing the financial requirements of the franchising sector.
The loan program provides financing for franchise business, whether startup or existing. Also available are Kabuhayan Line, which is short-term funding for working capital and other day-to-day expenditures of the business; and Kabuhayan Term, which is medium-to-long term funding for fixed asset acquisition, business expansion or permanent working capital.
For franchising businesses, the program gives loan amounts from P500 thousand to P10 million payable up to five years.
