A seminar on “People Strategy for Ensuring SME Business Success” will be conducted by the Human Resources Innovations and Solutions (HURIS) in collaboration with the SERDEF on October 30 at the Bayanihan Center, Pasig City.
The training aims to provide SME owners with insights on the opportunities and risks of the coming ASEAN integration as well as tips on how to manage the challenges and seize the opportunities using human resources as a business strategy.
The training is anchored on the tenet that people resources are the most important asset of a business – one that can be harnessed and utilized to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce ready to take on the challenges of the ASEAN economic cooperation (AEC).
Specifically, the topics to be covered are: (1) ASEAN integration and SME development; (2) Challenges and opportunities of SMEs in the upcoming integration; (3) People strategy as a business strategy: Importance of leadership; (4) Alignment as key to business strategy; and (5) Enhancing competencies, processes, and readiness for change (CPR) for organizational health and effectiveness.
