According to Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz, who led the awarding rites, “The Olympics provides a venue for our mSMEs to realize that they must incorporate, breathe and live competitiveness productive as strategies to achieve a win-win situation for both survival and resource managements.”
Companies which have successfully embarked on a productivity journey are better off in terms of overcoming the challenges posed by globalization and stiff market competition, she added.
A side feature of the event was a mini exhibit of the best products from the previous winners of the competition and other successful mSMEs in the country.
The event also saw the launching of the “Let’s Talk Productivity” advocacy platform of the DOLE showcasing the rewards of embarking on a productivity journey.
