Food expo expected to be a ‘delicious adventure’

“Delicious adventure” is the theme of this year’s Manila Food and Beverage Expo (MABFEX) which will be held from July 22 to 26 at the World Trade Center, Manila.

The Expo is expected to be the biggest showcase of homegrown food and beverage brands. A total of 500 booths will be put up on 8,300 sq m of exhibition space.

Product categories represented in the exhibit are: meat and poultry, organic goods, prepared meals and convenience products, bakery and confectionery, fruits and vegetables, gourmet and fine food, health products and food supplements, sea food, cured meats, and deli products.

The exhibition is also the place to find the latest in equipment, utensils, glassware and other needs of the food industry.

MAFBEX t will also feature cooking demonstrations, business matching services, seminars on issues affecting the food industry, an ice-carving competition, and new product launches.

A highly-anticipated event is the  “Young Hoteliers Exposition” competition, which will turn the spotlight on promising young professionals and amateurs in the industry.

The exposition is organized by MAFBEX Events Management in partnership with Comexposium, an international events organizer.

Expected to attend the event are restaurant owners, bakers, caterers, hoteliers, and purchasers from the food and hotel industry.

The exhibit is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
