PCCI conducts search for outstanding young entrepreneurs

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce Industry, the biggest aggrupation of businesses in the country, is conducting a search for outstanding young entrepreneurs across the country.

Eligible for the award are Filipinos, 40 years old or younger, who founded their own business and succeeded in growing it through unique products or services and marketing approach.  The company must be operating for at least two years.

An “Outstanding Young Entrepreneur” will be proclaimed in each of the following areas:   Northern Luzon, Southern Luzon, National Capital Region and the Visayas and Mindanao. From the area winners, the national winner or the  “Young Entrepreneur of the Philippines” will be chosen.

Nominations will be accepted from  member companies of the PCCI, other business organizations, and entrepreneurs themselves.  The deadline for nomination is on September 15.

The criteria for judging winners are innovation and creativity, business acumen, vision and leadership qualities, job generation, integrity and influence, and community involvement.
