Today, June 27 is MSME Day, a day dedicated to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises all over the country.
The United Nations declared June 27 as such by adopting Resolution No. 71/729.
The resolution was adopted to recognize the importance of MSMEs in promoting innovation, creativity, and employment generation. At the same time, it calls attention to the need to improve access by the sector to finance, markets, technology and other resources.
In commemoration of the day, the International Trade Center has launched its flagship report, “The SME Competitiveness Outlook 2019” which this year explores financing opportunities for the sector.
